Click "+ Add Avatar", enter a name, choose a voice and gender, write a personality prompt, select who they should talk to, and click Save. Your avatar will appear in the grid.

Yes! That's one of Hey Andrew's unique features. Set each avatar's "target" to another avatar or human, and they'll automatically continue conversations based on your routing.

In free mode, we use your browser's Web Speech API. In premium mode (with tokens), we use OpenAI's Whisper for better accuracy. You can switch in Settings.

Yes! Click "Record Conversation" before starting. All messages and audio will be saved. You can play them back later from the "View Conversations" menu.

Click the 🌍 button on any message to translate it to your preferred language (set in Settings). Click again to see the original.

Yes! When avatars are talking, click "Jump In" on the human avatar to interrupt and redirect the conversation.

Tokens are credits used for premium OpenAI features. Each operation costs tokens: Speech-to-text (1), Chat (2), Text-to-speech (1). A full conversation turn costs 4 tokens.

You get 100 free tokens when you sign in with Google. That's enough for about 25 full conversation turns to experience premium quality.

No! Your tokens never expire. Buy once and use whenever you want.

Absolutely! Web Speech API mode is completely free with unlimited usage. You only need tokens if you want premium OpenAI features.

Free uses browser-based speech recognition and synthesis. Premium uses OpenAI's Whisper (better accuracy), GPT-4o-mini (smarter responses), and premium TTS voices (better quality).

Sign in with Google, click your token balance in the top-right, and choose a package. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Without sign-in: locally in your browser's IndexedDB. With Google sign-in: synced to Firebase Firestore (cloud). You control what gets saved.

No! We don't ask for your OpenAI key. Our Cloud Functions proxy all OpenAI requests using our secured key, keeping it safe on the server.

Partially. You can access locally stored avatars and conversations. But AI responses require an internet connection (Web Speech API or OpenAI).

Currently, conversations are stored in Firestore. Export functionality is coming soon! You can manually copy transcripts from the chat window.

In premium mode, we use OpenAI's GPT-4o-mini for chat responses, Whisper for speech recognition, and TTS-1 for voice synthesis.

Check your browser permissions (usually in the address bar). Make sure you're on HTTPS or localhost. Try a different browser if issues persist.

Check system volume. Ensure audio autoplay is allowed in browser settings. Try different voices in avatar settings.

Web Speech API requires internet for some browsers. Try premium mode with OpenAI Whisper, or check your microphone permissions.
